Centre College’s Communications Office recently welcomed two new staff members: Ryan Lanigan, visual and web designer, and Amy Clark Wise, assistant director of Communications for marketing and public relations.
Lanigan, a native of Lincoln County, has worked in the design field for eight years. He graduated summa cum laude from the graphic design program at Eastern Kentucky University and has since held positions at Wausau Paper, Alltech and DecoArt. Lanigan also owns RL Design, a design company that works to create marketing communications materials with clients from a variety of fields.
As a freelance artist, Lanigan has created notable designs—including the logo for 303W Restaurant on Main Street in Danville. Lanigan and his wife, Reneé have two sons, Aiden and Asher.
Wise, a Danville native, joins the Communications Office with 15 years of experience in the fields of public relations and marketing. Wise graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky School of Journalism and Telecommunications with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Strategic Communication. Her past roles have included director of communications at the Commonwealth Cancer Center and media relations for Kentucky Department of Travel and Tourism, among others.
Highly involved in the community, Wise is an alumna of the 2009 Leadership Boyle Country program and serves on the board for several local organizations, including acting as Communications Chair on the Advisory Board for the Salvation Army. Wise and her husband, Kendal, have two children, Molly and Colin.
