Ibrahim Jadoon ’13 and Mya Price ’13 to speak at Honors Convo

Ibrahim Jadoon ’13 and Mya Price ’13 have been selected as the keynote speakers at the annual Honors Convocation, to be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7 in Newlin Hall in the Norton Center for the Arts.

Jadoon and Price were nominated by faculty members, and their peers in the Class of 2013 subsequently voted for them to speak at the convocation. After they deliver their addresses, the College will present honors and awards to students in a variety of areas, including outstanding academic achievements, commitment to service and athletic successes, among others.

Jadoon is a graduate of Model Laboratory School in Richmond, Ky. He is part of the first class of Brown Fellows at Centre, through which he has studied abroad in Turkey and Panama. Jadoon is a member of Alpha Phi Omega, Centre's co-ed service fraternity and is on the CARE (Centre Action Reaches Everyone) Leadership Team. He is a Resident Assistant and has served on the Centre Student Judiciary Council.

Price graduated from Dunbar High School in Lexington, Ky. She is a member of the College Council and of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. Price is a Resident Assistant and is also a member of the Colonel Corps, and is involved in several service-related organizations across campus.
