Director of Public Safety

2. Where did you grow up?
Greensburg, Ky., home of the oldest courthouse west of the Alleghenies

3. What are your hobbies?
Golf, fantasy football, the cinema

4. What is your dream vacation?
Golfing in Scotland

5. Favorite artist and/or work of art?
Vincent van Gogh-The Starry Night

6. Favorite novel or poem?
Stephen King-The Shining

7. Most memorable trip or vacation?
The time my family was evacuated from our beach hotel due to a pending hurricane

8. Favorite TV show?
Drama-24, Comedy-Big Bang Theory

9. Favorite album?
Lynyrd Skynyrd-Gold and Platinum

10. Favorite singer and/or band?
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

11. Favorite food?
Beef—it’s what’s for dinner.

12. Favorite season?
Fall

Jesus, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and my great-grandpa, John Noah Milby

14. Favorite aspect of your job?
Helping students with their problems

The Flame Run

16. What would you be doing if you weren't working at Centre?
Writing the great American novel

17. Educational experience that's been most helpful to you?
Nearly flunking out of college after my first year

18. Best thing about growing up in your family?
Good old family values

19. Favorite place on campus (and why)?
My old office at the Ruby Cheek House because I spent so much time there

20. Advice you'd give to a first-year college student to make career success more likely?
Take a variety of courses to find out where your interests truly lie.
