Shelbyville; great sports town and great friends growing up

3. What are your hobbies?
Anything relaxing that can be done outside the gym

4. Dream vacation?
Hawaii or NYC, depending on my mood

5. Favorite actor?
Zach Galifianakis

6. Favorite novel?
The Great Gatsby

7. Favorite sport to watch (besides basketball)?
College football

8. Favorite show?
Entourage

9. Favorite album?
One Wild Night by Bon Jovi

10. Favorite Division I college basketball team?
Kentucky and VCU

11. Favorite food?
Sushi

12. Favorite season?
Football season

13. Three people, living or deceased, who you’d invite to the same dinner party?
JFK, Derek Jeter and a tie between Ron White and Wendie Austin-Robinson (head coach of Centre College women’s basketball)

14. Favorite aspect of your job?
Recruiting interesting student-athletes and getting to know the families

15. Favorite Centre tradition?
The Herbie McGuire Golf Tournament

16. What would you be doing if you weren’t working at Centre?
Selling sun tan lotion on San Diego Beach

17. Educational experience that’s been most helpful to you?
Being an RA in Nevin as a junior and a senior

18. Best thing about growing up in your family?
Awesome support of what my sister and I pursued

19. Favorite place on campus?
Nevin Hall, where I spent three years as a student

20. Advice you’d give to a first-year college student to make success more likely?
Deserve success: have an organized plan and develop the confidence that you can achieve your goals, provided you are willing to sacrifice and pay attention to the details.
